Terms of service
Last updated October 28, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Sole proprietor (FOP) Behashevskyi V. M., Nyzhnya Hyivska St, 52, Kharkiv, 61000, Ukraine (“we”), the operator of myDubber. By installing the extension, creating an account or using our server, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use myDubber.
What myDubber is
myDubber is a Chrome extension that replaces the voices of a YouTube video with a translated dub while you watch. The dub is made in one of two ways:
- Local: on your own computer, by a backend program that the extension installs and that uses your graphics card;
- Server: on our machines.
The dub is machine-made. Recognition, translation and voices may be wrong, late or missing. Do not rely on a dub where an error matters, such as medical, legal or safety information.
Your account
You need an account for Server and for the Medium and Full profiles on Local. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account: do not create accounts to get more free minutes or trials. You must be at least 16 years old.
Plans and the trial
- Free: 60 dubbed minutes a month on Server, one tab at a time.
- Pro: unlimited Server minutes within fair use, up to three tabs at a time.
- Trial: a new account may try Pro once, free for 7 days, without a card. After it the account is on Free unless you buy Pro.
Minutes count the dubbed time you watch. Watching the same part of a dub again in the same period is free. A dub that was already in the shared cache costs no Free minutes. A video you started may play past your limit to its end, up to 10 minutes. Prices and limits are on the pricing page. We may change them for the future, and we tell paying subscribers at least 30 days before a change applies to their next renewal.
Fair use. Pro is meant for one person’s viewing. Past 3,000 minutes in a billing period, your dubs on Server wait behind other viewers. Past 9,000 minutes, Free’s limit applies until the period ends.
Payments
Pro is sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Paddle takes the payment, adds tax where it applies and sends the receipt. Prices include tax.
Pro renews automatically every month or every year, as you chose, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on your account page. Pro then runs to the end of the paid period, and the account moves to Free. If a renewal payment fails, the account moves to Free until a payment goes through. Refunds are in the Refund policy.
The local backend
The extension installs the backend and the models it needs on your computer when you ask it to. The models and tools come from third parties under their own licences, which you accept by installing them. The backend uses your graphics card, disk and power, and you run it at your own risk. Keep your drivers and system in a state where it can run safely.
Acceptable use
myDubber is for your own, personal viewing. You must not:
- record, publish, broadcast or sell dubs, or present them as the original speakers’ words or voices;
- use the synthetic voices to deceive, impersonate, harass or defraud anyone;
- use myDubber against YouTube’s terms, against the rights of the people who made a video, or against the law;
- overload, probe or attack our servers, get around limits, or resell access to them;
- copy, modify or reverse engineer the service in order to build a competing one, except as the law allows.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we first tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
Content you watch
You choose the videos you dub. They belong to their owners, and dubbing one gives you no rights in it. The dub follows the original for your own understanding. It is not an authorised translation.
Availability
We work to keep Server running, but we do not promise it is always available. Our graphics cards may take a few minutes to start, may be busy, or may be down. When they are, the extension tells you and offers Local where your computer can run it. We may change features, add them or remove them.
Our liability
myDubber is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those the law makes mandatory, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: uninstall the extension and the backend, and delete your account (see the Privacy policy). We may end the service for everyone with 30 days’ notice. Paying subscribers then get a refund for the unused part of their period.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and email account holders at least 30 days before the change applies. If you keep using myDubber after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before they apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, please write to [email protected]. Most problems are solved faster that way.
Language
These terms are written in English and translated into Russian. If the two differ, the English version applies.
