Your account

Sign up, choose a plan and manage your myDubber account.

You need an account to use the Server backend. On the local backend, an account unlocks the Medium and Full profiles. The Free plan is enough for both.

The Server backend is not open yet. You can sign up now: we’ll write to you when it opens.

Sign up

  1. On myDubber’s first-run page, choose Server, then Create account.
  2. A sign-in page opens. Enter your email and type the 6-digit code we send you, or continue with Google.
  3. Choose a plan.

At sign-up there is a separate, unticked box for news and plan offers by email. Leave it unticked and you only get emails about your account, such as sign-in codes, used-up minutes or a failed payment.

Free also includes the local backend on your own GPU.

Pro adds live streams, up to 3 tabs dubbed at once and priority when the server is busy. Its fair-use ceiling is 3 000 dubbed minutes (50 hours) a month. See Minutes and limits and the pricing page.

The Pro trial

Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. It needs no card: when it ends you are back on Free, and nothing is charged. You can pay for Pro at any time, also during the trial, which then ends.

Payment goes through Paddle, our reseller: it charges the card, adds tax where it applies and sends the receipt. Your card details never reach our servers. A paid plan is canceled from your account page and runs to the end of the period you paid for.

When checkout is done, the page tells you that you can close the tab. The extension switches to Server by itself.

Manage your account

Your account page shows:

  • the email or Google account you signed in with;
  • your plan;
  • the minutes you have used this month;
  • buttons to change or cancel your plan, and to sign out.

A plan change applies from the next video you start.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your personal data. We keep only anonymous totals of dubbing time for capacity planning.
